A couple of days ago,
I asked here if anyone knew about a way to control your PPC from your Phone. The idea was to run a powerpoint presentation on the x50v with the VGA cable, and control the slides with the phone. As usual, I got no awnser.
At the same time, I was googlelizing, trying to find some miracle app. And I re-found this excellent piece of sofrware called
Float Mobile Agent (FMA) which is intended to integrate your phone with your PC. I ran early versions of FMA when I got my T610 and was little bit pain in the butt, the connection dropped, the utilities were minimal and so on, so I just quit using it, but the currently versions are a HUGE THING. I keep my phone Bluetooed with my PC and do everything from the PC (from SMSing, to managing pics, files, contacts, etc. If someone have a bluetooth doongle with Audio profile, can use the PC headset to talk).
So basically, Im just envisioning a PPC version of this software (which is, BTW, open source). Besides the remote controling of a PPC, which as strange as it sound is sometimes necesary, I can see a lot of use to controling the phone from the PPC in the same way you can do it with a PC.
My ideal scenario is an all conected interoperatible bluetooth network of PC-Stereo Headset-PocketPC-Phone. I hope someone with coding and programming skills and time can take this idea (and the FMA code) and take it futher.
