Battery Pack Pro - "Red X" Close button functionality? Thats all I want from BPP

Hi,

I have been playing with Battery Pack for a few years (Since my X5). I have come to the conclusion that the only part of BBP I like is the closing functionality on the top right hand of the screen. I dont like the built in switcher bar.

I also dont like the BPP "bulkiness" I find that only real part about that software I like is Journal Bar (not even part of BPP).

So, I realized that if I could still close items on the top right, thats all I would really want.

Since BPP is sort buggy on the X50v, maybe I should uninstall it & try something else (or I could just uncheck some BPP items in the "today" menu & soft reset).

Any ideas?>

Thanks,
Rich

Do a search for switcher bar alternatives, or program closers.....As around in peep's "View My Pda" section...

I believe you must have ProgramBar (or BatteryBar) active to use the BPP Task Manager. I now use the WisBar Advance switcher utility.

I use HandySwitcher from Dinarsoft to replace The weak Dell Switcher App and it gives you tap and hold to close too. It's lightweight, VGA and WM2003 compliant (for real unlike BPP), and inexpensive. Just as important, Dinarsoft actually supports their applications. Omega One's unstable BPP hasn't been touched in six months dispite numerous bug reports by 4700, X50v, & X30 owners.
