Definitely a brilliant demo. :approve:

I'm kidding, but it'd be nice if it worked for all of us!
We are happy to fix issues with the game. We just need to know about them. E-mail us at troubleshooting@blacksmithstudios.com with your problems or suggestion.

I'll be the first to admit that our installer has quite a few issues and is definatly not the best. We just put up a zip version to get around installer issues. Download it here

FYI we started development back in Apirl of 2003. ughhh way too long ago.

Please let us know what you think,

This game ROCKS. I was hoping it wasn't gonna be stylus controlled. The Dpad on the X50v is great. Not clunky at all. It's the way games should be. I run an SNES emulator and am used to the Dpad and for this game it works great. After my second try I didn't run into any asteroids and ran through both demo boards with ease.

GREAT GAME.

I would recommend a soft reset prior to installing it. I was able to install it to my built in storage without a problem. I had some issues in the beginning but realized I had a 30MB AVI sitting in RAM, leaving me only like 5MB of RAM left. Once I removed the AVI I installed it into my built in storage without a hitch. Maybe a soft reset will help clear your RAM up prior to install?

As far as the controls go ... you do get used to it after a while. The targeting takes a bit to get used to also. It would be nice to move the boost button elsewhere though. I am fine with the rest of the controls.

I agree with Kozak ... "GREAT GAME."

And for those that would like stylus controls, don't you remember STARFOX? I'd never wanna play that game other then with a DPAD.

Starfox was laggy enough that you could use the D-pad. The X50V's D-pad is too stiff I find myself going all over the screen unless I give it very quick taps. I can't control my ship well enough to defeat the second stage boss before it runs away. At least give us stylus control as an option.

I was just impressed the installer allowed full location of in the install. I wish they all would.

We are working on getting stylus control in. The second level boss is a challenge, but if you gather enough nodes (I recommend the green ones) he's a little easier. An analog stick on the x50v would've been nice.

Don't blame it on the controls. It was easy to defeat him, you have OTHER weapons. You won't kill him with the missle thing, but with the blue bubbles, especially if you have the 3 or 4 powerups, he goes down in no time. And the dpad on the X50 is the best I've experienced on a PPC and I've owned many and played emulators on all of them.

how about a option to change te camera?
so you can choose a camera mode wich gives you the exparience like you are in the plane, like what you are able in flux challenge and geo-rally..

I don't if this is hard to make the game able to do this, but it would be so fantastic. You can even see more of the 3d engine of this game..

Do you guys have the enhanced GAPI driver? YOU have to DISABLE it or it will lock up as it was designed to run on the 2700g hardware.

Yes I have it set to original driver. Is that all I need to do? I don't see a disable option just 'original driver'
