Resco File Explorer question

I've read some positive comments on Resco File Explorer on here. Any users? What are your thoughts on this? Any negative things I should look out for?

Well, although it costs money, it rocks. Imagine Windows Explorer on Pocket PC, that's pretty much what it is.

I recommend Resco Photo Viewer if you have a lot of photos you'd like to view. It can view all sorts of formats, including PSDs!

There's also a pretty decent free file browser out there but I don't know what it's called, but I heard it has some quirks. It's free though, if you're looking for a price tag of $0.00.

I've been using it since I got my X50v in mid-November. No problems. The built-in file explorer is a thing of the past. Resco FE is WELL worth the $$ IMO.

I find it much better than the standard explorer that comes with the axim X50. It's elso good for creating shortcuts once you have moved a program to another location.

It is great. It was the first app, along with the Resco photo viewer, that I purchased for the X50v. I do a lot over the network both at home and at work. Also, I manage a number of websites and the built-in FTP explorer is top notch. One app for local files, network files and FTP sites. Oh, did I mention Registry editor as well, all in the same interface.

As far as shortcuts go, you can view the properties on the shortcut and then BROWSE to the location of the exe. This is invaluable if you need to make room on Built-in or Main memory by moving stuff to one of the cards.

Between the resco file explorer and CEdit (also purchased) I can pretty much do most of my job on my X50v without a laptop.

I do not even think that the fact that it is not free is a negative. It is well worth the money when you consider what all it can do.

In a word, Resco rocks. All of their apps are killers and must have (Keyboard, Explorer, Photo viewer so far)
