Just ordered 50v

After reading here for a while I decided to retire the Ipaq 3630 that has served me well. The 50v is in processing as I type this ordered next business day delivery this is going to be fun. Couldnt pass up the 30% deal now just have to let The better half know and suffer the rath.

Cbiker...congratulations. I too ordered my 50v, last night. Too hard to resist that 30% off deal. I'm working on what to tell the wife when it arrives. I think the fact that I average 60 hours of work each week should suffice but I need more than that.

Congrats! I just took the plunge and bought a used x50v today! I'm so stoked. I minimized my spouse's pain by selling my Ipaq 4355 and a few old computer parts laying around to pay for most of the unit. Also, I saved about $100 over new. That made the wife happy.

I can't wait to surf in 640x480. I'm also interested in how my compressed DVD's are going to look in higher resolution. I'm thinking more pixelation may show up.

But I received an e-mail from dell that they have 24 workdays delivery time on the
axim in the moment.

So I must play with my X30L a few weeks!

That is really weird... I ordered mine on Friday and it is on the truck today to be delivered.

Color me as excited as a kid at Christmas...wait, was that the UPS truck...nope... Wait, was... nevermind.

Anyway, there must have been a bunch of people that took that 30% off deal.

I ordered mine on Sun 1-30-05 and the inital ship date was 2-1-05, but as of today (1-31-05) it says shipped.

This is my first PDA purchase and I literally started researching the Axim last Thur and amazingly it was the start of the 30% off sale. I was just a little bit too late to combine the offer with the $25 off of $225 code last week, so I waited until Sun. (At least before they changed the restrictions to include the Axim.) Ohh well I still think I got a good deal.

I also picked up a Lexar 1GB SD card (noramal not the 32x) from office max for $59 after MIR. I am going to help the cause and submit my read/write speeds for PDF of memory card speeds.
