Screen touch stops responding after clear screen?

I added a screen protector (boxwave) and the screen just stopped responding to the stylus. However, it worked fine using the buttons. I removed the protector, and it worked again. I applied the protector, and it works now, but you have to push harder than before. Any others have this problem, if so whats causing it?

the screen protector could have slipped under one of the sides and is asserting pressure on the screen

check to make sure that's not the case

Of course you have to press harder, you have a fairly thick piece of plastic over the screen that the pressure has to pass though. You get used to the little extra pressure, I think it's well worth it.
