ROM update and A/S

Hi
I just did the ROM update (no problem), but now active synch (3.8.0) is odd, but only on one machine. One machine (usb cable) is as always, but the cradled machine now takes a minimum of 30 seconds before it says connected and starts synching (and about half the time never sees the x50v at all). Has anyone else has this issue after upgrade. Was flawless before rom upgrade
