"Install Activesync before connecting to your PC"

We've all opened our new X50 and seen this warning label on the screen. I installed activesync on my PC when my X50 (mid) arrived a week ago. I just received an X50v. My question is this:

I don't have to reinstall Activesync with the CD that came with the new X50v do I? The software isn't specific to a device is it?

No, you don't have to reinstall it. If you installed the new version, which is 3.8, it will work with the X50v.

Hmmm. . . just checked, I have 3.71 installed. Also checked the CD that shipped with the new X50v and it was also 3.71. Is a link to upgrade to 3.8?
