A02 Upgrade Problem

Hi there,

I just upgraded my ROM to A02 but now my X50 can not find my WiFi network.

My network shows up under the Dell utility but under Settings -> Network Cards -> Configure Wireless Networks my network is not listed.

I have tried disabling/renabling WEP but that does not work either.

Any suggestions from anyone?

Have you tried disabling the powersave mode for wifi? Right after A02 mine worked flawlessly at my office. However at home it would not connect even though I had perfect signal - turned off powersave and voila! Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion but that did not work.

I'm going to call Dell and see if they have any ideas.

change your connection settings to Work instead of Internet.

Hey guys,

Well I did a hard reset and that worked and the only tinkering I know I did prior to the upgrade to A02 was that I removed the bluetooth shortcut from /Windows/StartUp.

I did a hard reset and kept the shortcut there and it worked.

Not 100% that is the reason but I'm 100% now.

i think ur right curtis mine worked after a hard reset after everything else failed.

I started using Odissey Client and it works fine.
Do you know any reason not to use Odissey Client?
