"Not a valid Pocket PC application"

I have a x50v and have been trying to download instant messengers (like agile and imov). All the downloads say that it isnt a "valid application" right after I download and I try to open the file. Can someone tell me why this is going on.

You may have to install it on your computer through Active Sync

Most Pocket PC applications come in the form of a .exe file which is an installer (or Setup file) that must be run on the PC while the device is connected and Sync'ed.

Never copy a .exe file directly on your device unless instructed to do so.
