Looking for a good backup program that supports "True" VGA. Anyone know of any? I heard Sprite Backup is good, but I'm not sure if it is VGA supported.
Works fine for me, in standard QVGA and OZvga/SE_VGA modes. :approve:
In fact I did a hard reset to test it. Restored it using the last backup and it restarted in OZvga Mode :approve:

You got it to work? (It launches, but I can't figure out how to give it any input)
I've been watching PocketPuTTY for ~3 months (love the PC version), but the developer seems to be dragging his feet on issuing any updates, and especially on opening up the source code (2 months since the sourceforge project was created..) so anyone else could contribute. Not very encouraging :(

Now that you mention it, I can no longer give it input either (SIP doesn't show up). Odd because the first couple times I tried it I was able to use it fine.
I found a lame work around for it on my device though... If I quit wisbar advance 2, then load PocketPuTTY, then go into my programs folder and launch wisbar, then close the programs folder, I will be back inside PocketPuTTY with a SIP so I can use it like normal. Lame, but effective, I guess.

Thanks psionandy, I have since tried it out myself and it works great. Like it a lot and would recomend it for others looking for a good backup program :approve:
Can these X50v programs be used by the X50 or are they only for the X50v. I want to know if the spb finance can be used by the X50.
Thank you all
As far as I know spb finance should work with the X50.
Most programs that work in "true" VGA mode should also work in regular VGA and non VGA mode, aside from some games maybe that were designed especially for "true" VGA or regular VGA. But I'm not a PDA gammer (too small, my 19" works better for me :)) so I'm not an 100% sure on that.
Programs that work correctly in "true" VGA mode are the ones that are harder to come by at this point in time, hence the reason for this form.
Okay I had done that, but was just wondering if there was an actual website for it. That will do thanks.
I meanwhile changed the link in my org. message, the announcement of NewsMonger. If you have any question to ask please mail your replies about NewsMonger in that thread. Thanks.
