I tried DockWave and it does a really poor job of displaying JPG files. I have several that I carefully resized in Photoshop and they display beautifully as a slideshow using Resco or the built-in Pictures, but with DockWave they're pixellated and have had their contrast ruined and they have jagged edges. It also looks like my Today screen background is somehow getting mixed in; it's a faint grid and I can see a grid pattern on my pictures in DockWave.
I kept looking for PocketPC VNC clients today and i found Mocha VNC (http://www.mochasoft.org/vnc/vncms.htm) which is both faster running in trueVGA on my X50v and offers more functions than the VNC clients mentioned be me above.
Full VGA support, encryption, desktop-client, and simply my favorite notes-program: Tombo. http://tombo.sourceforge.jp/En/
