Interesting article. I'm not sure I understand why the Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX 720 was ranked on top at the end. After reviewing the article, the two standouts are HP & Dell, as usual. I owned a low end HP and was happy with it, but went with the X50v because of the price.

The only thing missing from that article was price. I would be interested to see the price comparison between the units.

Some of the things seemed a bit unreasonable, but a good review nevertheless. I don't think ranking them is really appropriate, though, because which one is better really depends on what you need to use it for and how much you're willing to pay. The final ranking seemed to be totally based on features and bundled software...

Humm, I noticed that 3 of the 4 were manufactured by HTC. Sure do made me feel better since despite the price differences they all basically came from the same source .

And what does he means by this: "very soon the production of Dell X50v will involve Samsung displays instead of Sony analogs. It's too early to discuss the quality. The reason to replace LCD matrix comes likely from the wish to cut costs."

Does that means there are two versions of the X50v, one with Sony screen and one with Samsung screen ?
