Any fixes for the A02 upgrade yet?

I was one of those who tried to upgrade to the new ROM and couldln't. I got part way through and then the install box disappeared and I could get no further. Can't remember the exact step right now, but it was the same one others had problems with.

You were installing via ActiveSync? If so, was your cradle connected directly to your computer or were you using a USB hub?

No hub. The cradle is directly connected to a USB port on my desktop.

You didn't look too hard, or you would have found it in the first post on this page called "x50v Quicklinks...Software and Tweaks You Need"

In that thread, it's the first link.

As for looking did a search and didnt get but several pages of posts to go thru. So if you want to be a smart a@# just dont repsond....

The point of the search feature *IS* to give you pages of relavent posts to go through.

If you're too lazy to go through those posts yourself, then don't bitch when someone calls you on it.

Hey you to can bite me as I did go thru several pages before I posted. so please unless you know how many pages I went thru back off. Sometimes a search doesnt give you exactly what you think it will on a forum as big as this.

I try to do as much research as possible before I post. Most usually the people are a lot friendlier when you miss something as is the way I would be.

No offense, but the only reason for search to not work is user error, ie you didn't think about your search criteria enough.

Could be,I am still learning my way around the site and its hard to think of all the ways to search for things. As you may call it something one thing and I another, learning the venacular for this website will take time.

I also apologize for my rude comments above, but I always try to beleive it you cant say something nice dont say anything at all.

I searched for "download a02 update" and clicked on the very first link that came up titled "x50 Rom Update". Wow.....that was hard!

You know this conversation realy makes others want to be a part of this forum. What did hammering him on searching do? A simple nice answer would have been fine.
