Gmail Problem

I have read the wonderful guide about how to setup gmail on your ppc (http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...2&page=1&pp=25)

And I did get it to work sometimes. Other times, it will not download any mail. I used to have a x50, before I bought the x50v, and I was able to resive all mail. In the gmail options, I then, slected:
(Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)
But now, It only works, when I have it set to the:
(Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on)

This is upsetting, because I have alot of old mail, that I'd like to have on my pocket pc.

I have also tryed diffrent settings, for the (:465 & :995)
Microsoft Outlook seems to work fine resiveing all my old mail. but even that will not place all the mail it resives on my pocted pc. I'd like to beable to connect to gmail via wifi and get my mail. Not have a need to connect to my home pc to resive my mail.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I can't help, but I've had similar problems whereby access works perfectly for a few days, then it reverts back to "cannot receive messages". I suspect it's something going on at Google's end.

thats somewhat helpful. i was being to think it was all my fault. but hearing that someone has also had this problem helps.

Yep, I am in the same boat...but I can't even get it to work with Outlook. It works fine from the web, however.
