Having this problem too, anyone get this thing registered yet?
Has anyone paid for it yet?
I tried to but all of the Purchase links take me to the Palm version.
I've got an e-mail in to the developers but nothing back so far.
Thread stuck. The folks who don't plan to upgrade to the WM2005 OS will love this app.

Wow! I need to pay more attention! I bought it, but after further inspection, seems it was the palm version. Odd though, the link on my order confirmation page WAS for the ppc download...
Anyway, waiting to see what support has to say...
EDIT: Just looked at the page source on the "buy" page, seems its not updated. The product scheme is (item=8834-X) They had 6 products listed, and scheme went through -6. Soo... out of curiosity I clicked on the link to one of the listd products, went to the address window and changed the -6 to -7(best guess for the designation of the next product) and presto, ppc version order page.
any confirmation on this?
i am seriously gonna get this softick program if wm5 doesnt support this mass storage device feature...& goodbye active sync. at last i can now plug my x50v into my friends computer and start sending stuff. :approve:
The operating system is based on the kernel Windows Compact Edition (WinCE) version 5.1. It differs from its predecessor in Direct3D Mobile (initially optimized for Wireless MMX), Windows Error Reporting, the possibility to work as a USB storage without drivers, improved support of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and so on.
So I think I'm going to hold out on buying Card Export II and suffer just a little longer!
Quick Review.
Works awsome. Recognizes SD, CF and BIS. Just like having a card reader installed into your Ax.
File transfer is faster then AS but not as fast as a hi-end card reader. Able to work w/ the cards w/o AS installed on the PC as another removeble hard drive.
Example: Able to connect to my PC and listen to all my music list thru the 7 - way speaker system . Yum!
How to install:
1. Download the trial
2. Install it to your Ax.
3. Remove it from cradle and perform Soft Reset.
4. Now at the right bottom corner of the screen you will see a new icon - press it.
5. Go to Preferences... and select your number of cards including BIS, ex.: I have SD CF and BIS, so my # is 3 .
6. Press OK
7. Press the programs icon again and choose CardExport mode.
8. ONLY NOW connect to cradle.
9. Go to My Computer to work with your new removable HD's
note: everytime you want to change mode from CardExport to ActiveSync and back you need to disconnect your Ax from the PC, i.e. remove the Ax from the cradle

Ok, was finally able to register.
What I did was uninstall and then re-install.
Upon starting the program I again got the 21-day trial message.
I then immediately went to the Register page (before attempting any Syncs and before switching over to Card Store mode) and the registration page successfully opened.

according to J. Westfal (spelling???) over at PPCT - it seems that there are problems with the registration/payment system... what was actually given was the serial code for the PalmOS version
EDIT ---->
this is my 100th POST!!!
and because of this APP ---> goodbye CLIE!!! :)

Jon. They use fullnames at Thoughts. Who knows my fullname here, and where did you find it? Anybody but HOR. will get a hardware gadget from USPS if they post it before Monday. 40th Floor you already know so don't try. :)
I'm gambling the 6 in 1 card reader from sandisk this time. 0001 AM Sunday disqualifies entries. It's still in the blister wrap.

When you set to 3, does BIS appear at MY Computer?
On the laptop? No.
I just get three "Removable disks".
One is the CF, one is the SD, and the 3rd tells me to insert a disk when I click on it.
When I set it to 2 then I just get the two Removable disks.
I get the same problem as gjw. Regarding the registration problem, it is because you have installed it to BIS. If you install it to main memory, you can bring up the registration window.
There's not much point installing it to BIS - only 50kb of the program goes there - all the essential drivers are on the main memory. Plus you can't register.
I've emailed them about the BIS problem - out of those who have got it to work, do you all have x50vs and what did you set in the preferences - did you switch on the native routine option?

You're absolutely right . I have the same issue .
Just received an e-mail from Softick telling me they're addressing this issue and will repair this bug : fingers crossed :
