That will not work if ActiveSync is not installed.
It is also much slower.

even if you do that, it would convert the files to make it ppc compliant. So it's not the best thing to do.

Dude, the average speed USB 1.1 manages to get is about 5 mbps, my experiences with 802.11b (even though it's wireless), it's faster! Try browsing trough activesinc and compare it to browsing on your average WiFi connection..

just curious, what about carrying a bluetooth usb adaptor? what would the transfer speed be? they are affordable and small. but then you might as well carry a usb card reader. there are some SD readers that require no cables if that helps any.

I seriosuly thought about buying this software for a little while, but discovered it wasn't really worth it for me. If I bought this, I would also need to buy a Dell sync cable to really make it useful, whereas if I bought a dedicated SD card reader instead, I could use my little extendable USB cable. The latter option is less to carry, less expensive, and potentially faster.

Unstickied as it has now become a repeating thread of the same thing and nothing really has come out of it. (Trying to clean up the forums a bit)

It will still be availible in the forum, just not stickied anymore :)

in other words.. we're SOL. Wait for WM5.
If I reformat the BIS as FAT, will that enable it?
