Tweaks2k2 any thoughts...

I was thinking about getting tweaks2k2. Can anyone tell me if this program is worth getting and if so, is it hard for a beginner to use it? Thanks all..

Absolutely indispensable IMO. It was one of the first programs I bought when I got my Axim.

There's a free trial, so give it a whirl and see if you like it.

i dono. Every time i try it it scrwes up my x50v. Guess i need to take it 1 tweek at a time lol

i wouldn't be surprised if some of those guys having trouble with the x50v's in terms of flashing to new ROMS or problems in general is the result of "tweaking" via programs like tweaks2k2

ultimately if you know what you are doing and are comfortable and knowledgeable about registry settings you should be fine, however if you don't know what you are doing and don't know how to go into the registry manually to undo things that tweaks2k2 might have done, then you should probably stay away from it

I like the software quite a lot. I'm not big on manually changing registry settings and Tweaks does a good job of it. I have used Tweaks to make changes that didn't work too well or that I didn't like, but I was always able to undo the settings with Tweaks without problems.

It's the uncheck/undo function I like most. It's worth the money.

I just bought Tweaks2k2 but having problem with the feature "rotating 180". It rotates but refuse to rotate back. The developer said it must be my PPC but I don't think so be it is a brand new unit. Beside not sure who would want to rotate the screen 180 anyway? Be careful with that feature.
