Sync to multiple calendars and pcs

I'm new to the PPC world and have trawled through the archives here looking for something on this but can't find the exact same problem posted.

I need to sync to 2 separate calendars on my work pc and a single calendar on my home pc. I have done this in the past using Chapura Pocket Mirror with a Palm, in conjunction with categories, but can't find a way of doing this with the X50.

From what I have read it's not possible to sync to multiple calendar folders period without extra 3rd party software? But is it possible to just sync my "work" category to my default calendar on my work pc, but to sync "work" and "home" categories with my home pc.

I have managed to sync both categories ok with the home pc but if I then tell Activesync only to sync the "work" category with the work pc, it actually then DELETES all my "home" entries from the X50 during the sync!

Any advice with either: a) syncing to multiple calendars on the same pc, or b)syncing to a single calendar on each of 2 pcs but using different categories on each would be much appreciated.

Same problem here.
On my home PC I want to sync everything, but on my work computer I want to sync only the "work" category. but it is not possible to sync only a selected category from the PPC, if you select "sync only these categories" in activesync it will only block calendar entries that were updated on the desktop to move to the pocket pc, but everything you do on the pocket pc will ALWAYS move to the desktop no matter what.

does anyone have a solution? this is a huge problem in activeSync :realmad: , if I have known this earlier , I would not have moved to PPC from palm

well, Intellisync solve the problem.
a bit on the expensive side though (~70$).

My problem is slightly different, but related: I have a personal calendar in Outlook, and a 'team' calendar as well... but can only sync one of these with my Axim; no option for multiple calendars.

I've searched through the Aximsite Fora for an answer to this - the question is raised lots of times over the last couple of years, but no ideal answers. The only other solution suggested (apart from Intellisync) is Pocket Lookout: http://www.vonkensoftware.com/lookout/ but this is no longer supported by the author...

It does seem incredible that there is not a simple (and relatively cheap) means to handle multiple Outlook folders - this should be a standard PIM function. Is there no prospect that the WM5 cavalry will ride over the horizon triumphantly and solve this and all our other problems...
