vga mode help

I was just wondering if my x50v is in vga mode when i received or do i have to download something for it to be active. Ive read about the se-vga and oz-vga on here. I thought the x50v was vga mode alredy. Is it??? or do i need to do something else?

You need se_vga or Oz to put your Axim into VGA mode. I use SE and have been happy with it. I have not used Oz, but a lot of people like it.

Both are free downloads.

Although this comment ^^^^^ is true.....it is only half true.

When you get your device, it is running in VGA mode.....but a half-assed VGA mode because Microsoft didn't do it properly.

If you do a search on the forums you will find all the answers you need. There have been a number of threads explaining this.
