SD Storage Installation workaround?

Okay, I just messed around with installing/uninstalling the 2 games on the 3D Game Pack - Enigmo and Stunt Car. Enigmo installs to Main Menu by default; Stunt Car installs to BIS by default. I could not get them to install to my SD card if I chose that option.

So I let them them install to their default locations and then used ActiveSync to move the \Program Files folder from both BIS and Main Memory to the SD card. I updated the shortcuts with Resco Explorer and they both work.

My question - for apps that refuse to install to SD storage, is it safe to let them install to their default locations and then move them to SD after? Will I end up screwing things up at all? Are there better options? I'd rather install non-system programs to SD rather than internal storage at all times.

I installed both of mine to sd with no problem at all. To answer your question though, I don't think it will be a problem as long as you update the shortcuts. If you do have problems you can always uninstall the program and start over.

I installed this tweak prior to installing the 2 games. Could it have prevented the games from installing correctly to SD?

That is a good possibility. I have not tried the tweak so I can't be sure. I have never cared where on the storage card my programs were installed so long as they were on the card instead of main memory or built in storage. However, I can see how it would be nice to have all apps organized into 1 folder on your sd card. You should try undoing the tweak, uninstall and delete your previous installs of the games, and start from scratch. Then, you may be able to apply the tweak to future installs of programs (and the others you had previously tweaked) without further problems. It may just be a problem with certain apps. It is worth a try.
Man, that's a lot of tweaks.
