Forcing 104MHz processor speed on x50v

lo all.
I want to be able to force my processor clock as low as possible for watching movies. In my experience the Auto setting does not seem to clock down to 104MHz (which is the minimal speed AFAIK) when i'm playing movies, even though i believe it could make this (mostly it stays at max speed even though a benchmark at 208MHz in betaplayer gives a result of about 200%).

So i'm looking for a program or something which allows me to force my PDA to run in 104MHz. I've found a program called XCPUScalar. This program is however not free, and I would like a free alternative if that exists.

Thanks for any help.

I don't think any freeware exists that will work for the new 270 chips.

Anyone have any comments on the program (XCPUScalar)? Are there other programs I should check out too? I've seen a program called Pocket Hack Master 2004, but it does seem kind of overkill for my use, which is mainly to get longer battery life.

In my experiance when I tried using XCPUScalar to set the clock speed to 104Mhz it actualy made the batery life shorter. I was just using the free trial but I unistalled it and my batery life seemed to return to normal. So now I am just happy with 208Mhz though it would be much nicer if Windows would be able to go down to 104Mhz manualy.
