Simple questions actually, but since I'm new to this site and the Axim, I thought I'd rely on the experience of members.
I just purchased an extended 2200mh battery from Lion Battery. I was half expecting a corresponding battery cover to come with it (half not expecting it; after all it didn't state that a cover was included)
I heard that the corresponding extended cover "is" included if one were to purchase the battery from Dell. Is that the case? and/or is there another way to get this cover? ..without a battery cover in place the unit goes into "sleep mode"
Secondly, will the Axim x50v connect via bluetooth to a standard BT phone headset (i.e., Jabra BT250 or similar) What I'm getting at is it is possible to get music from my PDA to the Jabra to listen to MP3's?
Seems strange they didn't send you the cover for your new battery. I would contact them about it. I ordered one from dell and it did come with the cover. I don't know about the Jabra, but others have had success with the HP bluetooth headphone. Check here for a thread about the bluetooth headphones:http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=74784

Thanks for responding maddmatt, sorry if I wasn't clear but I did not get the battery from Dell. I got the battery from Lion Battery. Are the covers available from Dell "only?" and must I buy a battery from them to get the cover?
Also, I've seen the discussions about the various BT headphones. These talk about the various units that are used to listen to music. What I'm talking about is a headset that is used normally for a BT cell phone; will I get music from this if I have it sync'ed with my PDA instead of my phone?
That cover should have come with the battery. It was a mistake. I got additional covers with my 1100 mAh Mugen batteries from Aximcases, so logically, they should come with the 2200 mAh batteries, and in fact, they should be a necessity!
I'm not sure what to tell you about the battery issue as I bought mine from Dell also.
But on the phone front, I purchased a Motorola V600i (same as the 620 you can get in the US) and the headset that came with it (HS810) works great with my Ax. I can use it to run Skype, take voice notes, or listen to sound from the Ax. The only downside to it is that it is mono. I wish I could find a good stereo headset to use with this. If anyone knows of one, let me in on it!

You were clear, I was just answering both questions. The headset should work, but mono only. Why bother?
