Hi!

This week-end while attending an IT conference in Milan, I was the lucky winner in the drawing for an Axim 50. Yea! Well except for the fact that I don't speak or read Italian and you guessed it, my new Axim does.

Ok, so before I march off to Berlitz or sign on to e-Bay, can anyone tell me
1) can I change the operating language to English
2) how to do it

Go to Dell Web Site. Search for Downloads for your X50.

Download the A02 ROM update (its only available in English for the time being).

Search in this forums. There are several threads that provide instructions on how to apply the update.

However, since you have a brand new device, you don't need to take care on backing it up.

Just apply it. Good luck

Prolly won't be able to apply the A02 update - many others with other than English language devices have not been able to do so.

if there is a bootloader procdure that you can reflash from a cf or sd you maybe able to do that
