x50 Gallery- Optimum jpg size?

I keep some family pics on my CF card to show at work. They are from a Canon 300d and are slow to load, what would u suggest is the best image size for the x50 screen in its default mode?

For the X50 the screen is 320 X 240, so anything along those lines would work well. You could even go up quite a bit and still have good loading times.

What size are the images you are trying to load?

I find lower resolutions quite pixellated, I am looking at 6MP images at the moment. Even 1024 by 768 Images with no compression seem poor. Perhaps it's me.

I use Resco Photo Viewer and it came with a desktop counterpart that formats the pictures for PPC viewing. I know there is other software out there that does the same. Might not be the best way, but my pictures look great! Good Luck~
