My battery is fully charged, yet the power button keeps blinking slowly. What should i do?

This means you have some reminder/alarm/notification occurring.

even with the notification/reminder, i believe that the screen should still power off after the preset time and that the light should no longer blink.....

Usually the light continues to blink even after the screen has turned off. Try checking your alarms/schedule to see if there are any triggers. Once you dismiss the event, the light will go out.

I had this just start happening after a year of ownership, I went into the notification settings and disabled sounds and blinking light for the Reminder notification. It began to drain my battery to 0 after 1 notification. Haven't had a problem since :)

I had this too and did a soft reset to get out of it.
