Software install error message
Hello all, I am a new PPC (Axim X50 mid) user from Palm and I have looked for a post on this forum to answer my question and I can't find one.
Every time I install any software through my PC I get this error.
"The program you have installed may not display correctly because it was designed for a previous version of windows mobile software."

Even the S/W that is designed for 2003 se does this.
Also when I uninstall anything it is gone from the remove software list but it still remains in the programs list as a bad shortcut. This recently happened with Ministumbler. How do I remove this and how do I stop it from happening in the future. Before I uninstalled it I made sure that all programs were closed too.
It really makes me appreciate the Palm os.

Most programs will say this, but it doesn't cause any problems.

To remove dead icons, use your file brower to go to Windows/Start Menu/Programs. Tap, hold, and then choose delete.

It happens with almost every installation, just ignore it :)
