I'd advise you to try FAIRUSE first and let see if you'll think about trying PocketDivxEncoder...

i would recommend using the preview button and transfering the files created to your axim to view, I use good quality 240 x 320 and it plays great on my x50v, 480 x 640 is slightly clearer in betaplayer but not worth the hike in file size.

i guess it depends on how much space you have on your memory card

I just got my X50v last week and have been reading different as many opinions on which software to use for converting/compressing DVDs and several make fairuse sound like a great package to use. Can you explain what makes it so good to use?
Are you using Light Edition or the Full Version? If the full version did you purchase it from the fairusewizard.com site and how does that work as with the price in euros? Thanks.
