Here's how I changed mine.

I used a registry editor and searched for the name of the folder that the attachments are saved to in BIS. Usually Inbox.mst-then-some-numbers-

I found that mine was in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MAPI

I then changed the String Value to where I wanted the attachments to be stored. In my case this was \CF Card\Inbox

Try this out to see if it'll work for you. As always though, backup the device and the Registry, just in case!

Startir

Here are some free reg editors.

Here is one that lot of users have and I use, it has a trial download too.

Try this. I just did this and transferred my attachments to my SD card.

Go to \Windows\Messaging\Attachments
Copy this folder, not cut (Attachments)
Navigate to your SD card and paste the folder there.
Go to the reg key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MAPI
Change the String Value to \SD Card\Attachments
You shouldn’t need a soft reset but do one anyway.
Send a test email with an attachment then download the attachment and see if it now appears in the new SD Card\ Attachments folder.

See if that works.
zero.

Hello :)

I had to do a hard reset after the changes in the registry because
my Thinkoutside BT Mouse was not able to work after that :rolling:

Now IŽll start from the beginning...
When IŽve installed everything new I will give you info about my e-mail problem.

have a nice day...

That's a shame, sorry to hear it. Don't forget to backup this time.

I'd actually try this out before re-installing. It's one of the first things on my list after I do a hard reset.

Hope the reinstall doesn't take too long.

So, what is the verdict?
I sure don't mind doing resets, as long as I can get attachments to SD, and access them when browsing e-mail just as though they were in BIS
