Enable WIFI and Ripboard won't work in VGA mode
Wondering if anyone has come across this problem.
I'm now in the next stage on getting my Wireless to work. The problem is that once it is enabled, the Ripboard keyboard (I'm in VGA mode with ozVGA) won't run; just the small version of the regular keyboard works. I uninstalled reinstalled and soft reset and still no large keyboard. Turn wireless off, and it works fine.
Anyone experience a similar problem??

I've had this problem, but it's sporatic. I've also noticed that if I have Ripboard running and I try to turn on bluetooth, I'll get a memory error. Not sure if this is an addressing error or a memory leak. I guess this is the price you pay when you screw with stuff.

I have just tried it, to be sure, and no I don't get any problems with RipBoard when WiFi is running. Is it possible you are running out of memory, or some other resources?.

I'm thinking that's the problem. I started Ripboard then started WIFI and now it seems to work fine.
Thanks for the responses.

P.S I tried the BlueTooth while running Ripboard and I get a failed to turn on due to insufficient driver memory avail.

I know several people have reported problems with Bluetooth and memory usage, though I have never hit it myself. Basically I never install anything in to main memory if I can help it, I put all apps in Built in storage or SD Card, so with a clean start I have 41Mb of *free* main memory, but 64Mb of Built in storage is used up, plus quite a bit on SD card. I know lots of people say how slow built in storage is, but the difference when loading a progam is hardly noticable, then once it's running it's running in main memory anyway.
Regards
