monitoring mic input

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've had my axim x50v since January and love it to death.

Anyway I'm trying to figure out a way where I can record sounds through the microphone and hear it live through headphones while it is being recorded. Is there a setting somewhere I need to turn on? Or is there some software out there that I can install that will do this?

you could try Resco Audio Recorder. I'm not sure if it does this but it should..

Thanks for your help so far,

I have VITO sound explorer. And it doesn't allow me to monitor the input. I figured that since there are programs there that can visually represent the input signal that there must be something that can allow you to hear it as well. I'll look into the RESCO program.
