You have to just copy the files onto you PDA I think. I am working on that now. It didn't want to simply open the program from my network because its 10 megs of stuff after you unzip.
I haven't tried it yet, let me know if it works with an x50v if you get a chance.
It works pretty well. I installed it to the SD Card and it worked. It originally pixel doubles, so i did the high-res aware hack and it looks a lot nicer. There is a rendering bug, if I scroll down a page, sometimes it draws text over other text. This happens in the unhacked version as well.
The interface is a bit confusing, e.g. the back button only appearing after a double tap on the page, and I'm not a fan of the taskbar on the bottom. Will there be the option of rendering it full mode versus this no horizontal scroll way?
Nice work overall! It's nice to have a free alternative browser.

it works in a fashion, the start bar is still at the bottom of the page, and the address bar doesnt show but you can view pages with it, and they seem to render fairly quickly.
are there any specific areas you would like me to test?
I believe you have to put it in the ROM. I tried just puting it in the built in storage and it would not run. But after copying it to the main memory it would run. It does seem to render pages faster but at this point I think it is safe to say that you won't be switching over to it for more than a novelty... yet. Let it render pages in VGA while running in standard VGA mode, maybe put the task bar to the top and make it easier to get an address bar/back button. Once it has these capabilites PIE will be as extinct as the T-Rex.

Main Memory is RAM - BIS is ROM :)

Installation is simply done by extracting the files and copying them to the device (anywhere works, but RAM is fastest). Then browse to it with file explorer and run Winembeded.exe
"It keeps telling me I do not have enough memory to run a component of the program or there is a file missing. Anyone else know what's up with this?" -- This problem is often caused by clicking on winembeded.exe multiple times! Please be aware it take a long time to load the first time, it has to register files. It is working, just give it a minute. Also be sure you have enough free ram for the program to use. If you have alot of other programs running you can have problems.

What are you asking about? Option for full mode? Are you talking screen rotation? As for the high res. stuff, its not been tested on VGA devices yet, and isn't being designed for VGA yet.
