What processor speed?

Hi, just wonder what processor speed you guys set your X50V to. I have it set to Auto. But sometimes found it a little bit slow. When I switch between programs, it takes some time for the screen to refresh.(maybe 3 sec)

I maximize my speed at 624 MHz. The faster the better and when a faster one becomes available, I'll probably upgrade.

I am generally set to High. If I know I need to conserve battery like when using MP3 or working on a project I lower it. No need to sacrifice performance if you know you will be charging soon.

I go the other way and normally have it set to low. If it bogs down i turn it up to 11

I use the maximum speed. 624 MHz is what I buy, 624 MHz is what I use. I would find some other way to deal with the power issue. Sacrificing speed for power is not an option for me.

500Mhz unless running something like quake or an emulator. With the 2200 battery I can go a couple of days without recharging...

I would think XCPUScalar or what ever its called. I dont bother with that program anymore as it doesnt tend to keep my settings for autoscale and too many times I've had the axim crash at 663mhz or 728mhz (more at 728 tho) so i figure the auto feature works just fine.

should try modding the axim to put a heatsink on it won't be long till we're moving to fans, peltier cooling, water cooling then soon we'll be pulling out the fridge compressors in the search for the fastest clock speeds :rolling:

haha..imagine there would be a small N2 the size of a 9v battery attached to the back... with a modstream power supply and a window mod for the back of the unit (or a clearcase mod! now that'd cool!) haha....
