Odessey Client Replacement?
Is there a replacement for the Odessey Client? The 4.0 costs $50 and the version included with my X50v doesn't cut the mustard as regards LEAP. (Can't get in at work, and my NW techs all assure me it's set up properly) When I go back to the Dell wireless setup, it says LEAP stoped due to error. (no idea which error)
So I'd like something like the Cisco Aironet software for my Axim. Is there such a critter out there?

The problems is with TKIP, cisco uses CKIP, Odyssey LEAP does not have CKIP. I am searching for a solution... winc does not work, I just tried it.

CKIP Settings
I have spoken to Odessey and they assure me it will work:)
I have to call tech support and see it they can get to work, I am doubtful due to the fact that there is no choice for CKIP only TKIP.... we will see shortly.

Let us know.
I am in the same situation as you where I am trying to gain access to a Cisco wireless network where I need to authenticate using CKIP and LEAP. I was hoping to be able to choose mode=open or shared and encryption method=CKIP but it seems as though you can only choose TKIP if the association mode is set to WPA.
Anything you come up with would be greatly appreciated.

It works fine on my network, and we are running Cisco LEAP via Cisco ACS. It took a couple of tries to get it right though.

After many missed calls from Funk software(they seemed to call when I was not in)and asking that I call I finally got this message from Funk software Oddyssey support- Brian "We do not support CKIP" so this is the end of the story.

Try the Meetinghouse Aegis client. Not free, but they have a limited demo version.

I have an extremely large deployment of PDA's on a Cisco Wireless network running LEAP and CKIP. I ahve been working with Funk/Juniper for months, and still can't get CKIP to work. It does work on the Odyssey desktop client though. Funk tells me that this si because CKIP is handled by the NIC and because it is so similar to WEP, it works as long as you use WEP with the keys automatically provided. It works on the desktops, but no luck on the PDA's.
