....for a first dead pixel. Half an hour!!!!
Got my Axim x50v (love it to bits by the way :love: ) charged it up for the recommended 8 hrs, and then got stuck in :approve:

Now one of the first things I downloaded was Betaplayer was very impressed with the playback but near enough straight away noticed a dead pixel near the centre of the screen :realmad:

Now can I ask if :

a) Anyone else has suffered a dead pixel so soon?

and b) Should I send it back (under 28 day return policy) and order a replacement or just accept it in the knowledge that I may get a dead pixel or two eventually anyway?

The acceptable tolerance is two dead pixels. They will replace on three or more.

mine had one from day one, I think there are others who have them to, if its not annoying you to much I wouldnt be to concerned, afterall you may get a replacement with more than one dead pixel.

Well I have one dead pixel in like the middle of the screen but it doesn't really bother me too much. The first time I noticed it I was like "oh no!! what's that?" But it only shows up when the screen is all black, so during certain parts of movies or whatever. It's hardly noticeable when I'm doing anything else on it, including viewing pictures.
So I wouldn't worry about it too much, just a minor detail.
