Can I buy from dell.com with a non-USA credit card?

Hello!
I am trying to buy an X50v to be sent to my girlfriend in USA as a present for her birthday.I live in Spain and I have a Spanish
Mastercard. I have bought lots of things at amazon.com without any trouble. Now when I try to buy from dell I cant choose anything out of the States as the address of the billing card.
I dont know how important is this for the procces because it doesn't complain about my card number.Maybe I could lie to it and write my girlfriend´s address there too.
So, has anyone from outside USA bought at dell.com using a non-USA credit card? Thanks.

PS: I am trying to find a support email address from dell to ask this too.

I was told by a Dell CS that this was possible but only over the phone. I've never done this, however.

The Credit card will be authorised by cross reference on the billing address so you cannot simply change the address.

Your best bet would be to call them up to place the order, that way you can ask them in person if it is going to be possible.

I haven't tried but I assume stanaphone will allow you to call DELL US on their 800 number for free from Spain.

Get to DellChat for an answer. I think it would be wise, though, to send the bill to your girlfriend , so she would appriciate the fortune you are spending on her :yeah:

YES, it is possible.I started this thread and I got the following answer on email from Dell:

Thank you for contacting Dell's Online Consumer Customer Care.

I understand that you wish to purchase Axim X50v using your Spanish
international master card. Please note that we only accept a valid US
physical address for the billing and shipping address, so I request you
to please put the US address in the billing address column and place the
order for the Axim X50v and your order will be processed.
