bluetooth activesync on activesync 4.0 woes...

I tried to connect my x50v via bluetooth (i have a microsoft bluetooth keyboard and mouse and i use the bluetooth dongle that it has) and even though i set it up exactly like the descriptions on ikehiker's tutorial, it won't sync up. activesync 4.0 keeps on looking for the device (the connecting logo and the spinning green wheel) but it doesn't sync - the x50v's bluetooth manager does show an incoming signal from my pc tho. anyone got any ideas?
