I heard people use the steel plate pulled out from car wiper blades and just tape tighly with the band! :approve:

Since the HP is using the headband as spring action it is hard to fix with glue or with electric tape!

I use Pocket Music and set the processor speed to power save and my commute to work is about 1.5 hrs and with continuos music with screen off the battery drops to about 80%. I never tried timing it but its seems to last pretty long.

Well save some$$ and get:

1-Extended battery
2-Get a good Car/USB charger (Belkin one from Dell)

Then forget about the power problem!

I don't own an ipod so I can't compare the sound quality with my x50v. But I recently downloaded an app (x50mix) that allows you to adjust bass, treble and 3D (theater effect). The difference in sound is amazing! Not just for music through wmp; it works when viewing movies / videos on betaplayer.

You can program WMP (D-Pad only), Betaplayer to shut off the screen or you can use the free utility called PSShutXP http://www.mobileground.com/download-77.html
to turn off the screen.

is it both the X50 mid and the X50v with the same sound as the iPod? Or just the X50v?

All the X50 series use the same sound chip as the iPOD it seems.

You can check it in the owners manual, at the back in the hardware specifications section.

Welcome to Axim site too!
