Automated ReplayTV to Divx

I posted on the avsforum about my automated DVD/Divx ReplayTV system. If there is interest I will post details there.

Automated nightly divx encoding ownz! Benefit of my system is that it also keeps a high quality DVD version of the video, which is not possible if you use a computer capture card (rather than ReplayTV) that encodes to divx from the start.

Wow! Sounds awesome! I have a ReplayTV and I'm interested! I'll have to check out the avsforums.

sounds great,but I have tivo. Anybody have an idea how to streamline that process. They don't have tivo to go yet for the toshiba dvr's with dvd burners so I have to burn to dvd then transfer to my computer before I convert to divx. Takes way too long. Anybody know any shortcuts?

Get a ReplayTV! Honestly, 1 DVR is not enough if you ever want to record 2 shows at once, or watch those shows in another room (DirecTivo is another story, it does indeed rock).

Just trying to give you an excuse :-)
