online banking problem....please help.

I'm trying to use the cibc.com online banking webpage on my pocket pc. everything loads up fine except for the field (dropdown box) where my bank card number goes. My password field is there but my card number field is not there. I have tried it with all of the browsers and add ons. ftx, pieplus, ie, netfront. none of them work even when i tell them to act as if they were ie 5.0. I did however get it to work with thunderhawkII. On the other hand I do not like thunderhawk II as it takes way too long to open web pages. Anything I can add to pocket ie to get it to display the bank card number field????????? please.

If you already tried all those, you are probably out of luck. Just curious, Why did you want it to act as if it was ie 5.0 and not ie 6?

what I want to know is WHY it doesn't show the 'card number' field. doesn't make any sense. i tried both act as if IE 5.0 and IE 6.0. tried everything.

Some here have reported good luck using Skweezer, which reformats the content. You can read up on it here

If i understand what that option does, I think it only tells the server it is ie5 or 6 but it can't really do what ie5 or 6 can do. so some things won't work properly no matter what. I tried this with my online banking and couldn't get it working right either. I can't believe MS cant do this right.

I use CIBC.Com as well.

You will not be able to get it to work. CIBC's online banking uses Javascripts that cannot, at present, be handled by any onboard web client.
