Dell should sell touch up paint!

I already have a nick in the silver paint of that silver thing around my axim. I see the black underneath the silver colored frame....

sigh less than 2 weeks and its already beginning to show imperfection.

Its small enough that I think it could be touched up but it would be nice if I could get some pant that looks just like dells.

On a side note... *CURSE YOU Rhinoskin!!!* stupid non neoprene plastic edge at top....

Here is a simple solution. Get a PILOT silver marker. This matches the silver on the Axim X50. Apply the paint and let dry. Then take a polishing cloth and smooth it out. Don’t do it too much as it will remove the paint. The paint will ware back off over time, but if you want you can put a bit of super glue on it, let it dry and then polish again. The super glue will protect the paint beneath. Be careful with the glue as it can damage the plastic.

Some people have also suggested the touch-up kits available for cars. They come with the primer, paint and lacquer. I don't honestly know whether it would work, but I guess it stands a better chance than most.
