50 mid upgrade to 50V? Better to wait with Dell OS upgrade in question.

I posted in software and realized better over here,..
related to hardware upgrade.

So....as I understand it, there is a cloud over the possibility of Dell offering an OS Mobile upgrade on current x50's.

I have a 50 mid and was thinking of selling it & upgrading to the 50v, for the VGA of course.

Sounds like it is far better to wait until there is news on what Dell is going to do.

Since the possiblity for a WM2K5 upgrade is still in question and you already have an X50 Mid, it would behoove you to wait a few months...

id say weight.

i upgraded to early recently on my cell and my MAc mini (could of got tiger)

you mean they won't upgrade your mini with tiger??
I'm on WinXP platform and at times ponder getting back to a nice simple system,....the mini looks attractive.
How do you like your mini?
