Calendar App problems

Hi folks. Is there any way to select a block of days in the Calendar app and mark them as holidays or conference days or travel days, etc? From what I can see, it looks like you can only enter in appointments at specific times in the day and not "general" day information.

Can you try creating an appointment that runs over several days and naming it "Holidays" or "Conference Days"? Alternatively, you can create all day appointments but would need to do that for each day in the block.

Okay, I'm not sure how to create an appointment that spans several days. I was actually thinking of something simple like highlighting all holidays in yellow or green. Should I be looking at a different calendar app?

Well, I use Pocket Informant, but you should still be able to do it in Calendar. Pick a start time early in the morning, and an end time late on another day.

you can mark an appointment as All Day so you'll see a bar on the top of the screen.
