X50V Screen Corruption When Scrolling Left and Right in PIE
When I scroll a web page in PIE using the left/right scrollbars and the stylus, I invariably have screen corruption (looks like overlapping text). If I reload the page then the page contents are redrawn properly. This behaviour also occurs in other applications (e.g. PocketFeed) which have similar scroll bars. I assume the scrollbars are part of a standard Microsoft API. I don't have this problem while scrolling up and down.
I first noticed this screen corruption while using my X50V running the A1 ROM. I updated my X50V to A02 this week in hope that this would fix the problem. I tested the left/right scrollbars in PIE immediately after upgrading to A02 and before installing any software whatsoever. The screen corruption is still present. The screen corruption doesn't always happen, but is more likely to happen if I scroll left to right and back to the left quickly.
I don't know much about Microsoft API's, but my guess is that this widget is missing redraw events leading to screen corruption, rather than being a hardware problem.
Does anybody else have this problem ?
Thanks.

Same here. Had this problem for a while. Certainly annoying. About time we had a hassle-free VGA browser too..

The problem occurs after a web page has fully loaded and also in other programs that appear to use the same Microsoft/PocketPC widgets. A left to right scroll will not fix the problem. One has to reload the web page in PIE or perform an operation in other programs which causes a redraw.
I should also mention that scrolling with the D-button in PIE doesn't exhibit the same problems as using the stylus.
It looks likes like I won't have to send my x50v in for service, although the scrolling problem is kind of annoying. Thanks to everbody for the replies.

Ok, I spoke too soon. The screen corruption problem is still there in A03. At least, I still see it in Newsbreak. Sorry for the earlier misinformation.

I saw this issue on my ipaq rx3115 also so I'm assuming this is an SE "feature" since WM2003 didn't have it.
