Help me update to A03 please
Hi, im using A02 on an x50v and I want to download the new rom verison. I live in Canada, but the dell canada redirects me to the USA one. So I downloaded it and backed the PIM stuff up on my sd card. IT say s that the system update file cannot be found. Reinstall the system update program - it tells me this when I press update rom. What Do i do?? I keep redownaloding it and it doesn't work? Can someone give me a step by step process to properly doing this? Thanks!!

1. be sure you're doewnloading the correct update file - x50v's not the x50's
2. when unzipping the file do it to the default directory requested by the software.
I had the same prob., I just kept unzipping to a folder on my desktop :rolling:

no, it asks to be unzipped to c:\dell\driver\something\something
agree to that . It will ask to create this directory (you don't have it on your PC , probably
0 - agree to that too

Well, actually, video playback seems smoother but maybe that's because of the hard reset

I had the same problem you did quesy and I solved it by.....
Step 1.
Create a new folder under "My Computer" in drive D: and call it something like AximX50v or just Axim.
Step 2.
Click on the downloaded program "ROM Update" then instead of unziping to the default directory click browse or "..." and click on the new folder. Then next and your on your way to installing AO3!!!
It might have been through fault of my own that I was not able to unzip the program to the default directory, but I just could'nt get it to work and did the above. Sorry Jukov if I'm only repeating what you said but I really did not get what you said.
I hope some one benefits from this as much as I hope so.
and click on the folder you created.

Does anyone know of any compatibility problems with A03 and thirdparty apps like betaplayer and x50mix?
