delete the mail db on the x50v

is there a way to delete the mail db on the device? after the rom upgrade I had a conflict with mail as I had a couple emails come in... they just wouldnt resolve... right now I deleted and recreated the partership, but my outlook inbox is empty, and my ppc inbox keeps saying 0 items, 2 unread..

so the today screen is incorrect... is there any way to do this?

okay... now 3 emails came in.... got synched to the device... but it now says on the today screen 5 unread...

but when I click in, it says 0 items 5 unread... and I cant see any of my messages... any idea??

okay, if I add a subfolder to be synced I see all the mail in that folder... but still nothing in the inbox

basically it looks like the inbox is hosed.... is there some sort of file that can be deleted and recreated?

sometimes, emptying all the deleted items in all your email accounts fixes the problem.

I actually fixed it by just starting over... I hard reset the ppc, then restored form the sprite backup, but did not restore the email... and then synched that worked great... was a pain though :)
