Active sync after ROM upgrade

When you do an active sync after doing a rom upgrade, how do you reuse the 'name' of the device again? Example default device is Pocket_PC but after the first rom upgrade I had to call it something else, so I called it AXIM. Now A03 is out and I have to name it something else again...how can I make it know its the same device?

You need to delete the partnership at AS on PC and then resync...

All I did was change the device name to what I wanted on the X50v and it worked fine.

I didn't catch that it changed the name at first. It had already ActiveSynced once before I changed it back.

DOH! I didn't see the delete partnership button (well I did but it was greyed out) when the axim isn't on the cradle. Problem solved :)

Hi, Before I upgraded I Copied the built in storage file to my PC. After upgrading to AO3 I copied the saved file into the built in storage file on the X50V then I restored data. When I synced it recognized it and synced OK.Glad we don`t have to do this often.
