WA2 making my x50v slooooow, and Atomic Cannon messing up...
can anyone think of a reason wisbar advance 2 would make my x50v slow to a crawl? it's the only plug-in that i use, but having it running makes my ax practically unusable. i store everything else on SD or CF cards, so i have plenty of memory available. even the cascading program menus take 5-10 seconds to appear, and sometimes don't show up at all!
i'm having another issue too. whenever i try to play atomic cannon 2, the opening screen is fine but all the menus and the actual playing screen are all messed up. the images are all way too big so it doesn't fit on the screen, it tries to play portrait instead of landscape, and the lines of resolution are staggered. it definitely looks like it's trying to run in QVGA or something. morphgear does something really similar, but it has its own problems apart from this.
anybody else have these problems or know what i'm doing wrong?
by the way, i'm running A03... had my ax about 10 days (and love it!)
I had a similar problem with WA2. Are you using a vga skin? Also make sure you are using the most current version of Wisbar.
I experienced the slow problem because I had an old version, upgrading to the newest one fixed it for me.
Same thing as tancerman says with atomic cannon. Make sure you have the latest version.

thanks for the responses, guys... i'll give this a try and let you know. i really like WA2 and i want to keep using it, but it's not worth the slow down if i can't fix it.
is using a vga skin problematic? would that be causing the slow down, or the problems with morphgear and atomic cannon? (same question for the gapi tweak...)
The latest xersions of atomic cannon don't need the gapi tweak to run.

I have an X50 v and use both WA2 and atomic cannon and originally had the same probs.I have memmaid installed and after a few resets and cleanups using memmaid including notify queue duplicates it seemed to work fine.
i have atomic cannon installed to sd card and wisbar Advance 2 installed in internal storage memory.
Dont know if this makes any difference.
well, i turned off the gapi tweak, and that fixed my atomic cannon problems. :approve: i haven't tried morphgear yet, but i'm betting it was the same problem (the effect was the same).
i'm running wisbar advance 2.0.1.23 beta... i reinstalled and it seems to be doing a little better. could my problems be a bug in the beta? something else i noticed, when i hit the "menu" button on wba, sometimes the dropdown menu shows up in negative... all the colors are inverted. it's strange. i'm not using a vga skin anymore... could this have been causing the slow down?
Just an update. WA2 was killing my speed. I upgraded to the Beta version available in the forums at Lakeridge and now I have my speed back WOW HOLY WOW what a dfference!!

Dell X50v with BT LG325, Belkin GPS, 1GB 60x Kingmax SD, 1GB Lexar 32x CF, 512MB Lexar SD and 256MB Lexar SD, I wish they would'nt release these so often. Every time a new one comes out I make sure I get it!!!
