Newbie Question: moving PIE favourites to storage card

Hi, I've had my x50v for about 6 weeks (love it loads) and have been viewing this wonderfully helpful site for allsorts of advice but too scared to ask anything myself! I'm not very computer savvy so find some of the terms people use a bit confusing sometimes. Anyway, here goes!
I keep reading you can move some files to do with PIE to a storage card. Are these the ones you save as favourites so you can view the pages offline? Can I move them without special software? So far I can't actually work out where in main memory they're stored at the moment.
I did manage to do the upgrade to A03. :)
Thanks everyone for all the info and posts on Aximsite that have helped me through the last few weeks as a firsttime pda owner :)

You can stop the temp files on your SD/CF card so it doesn't store on main memory. I'm not sure if you can store the page offline.

I just poked around PIE and I could not find how you tell it where to store the temp files. How is it done?

I stand to be corrected, but I think you do need specialist software to do this. I use MemMaid myself...essential buy IMO! (does a lot of other things as well)

Thanks, that makes sense. I'm in the process of getting some flash cards and will want to put the extra memory to good use.
