X50 trouble Synching contacts calender and tasks

Ok, here's another problem. I just got a X50 Axim and have loaded the outlok 2002 software and the new activesync 3.8.
when synching the first 3 items, claender, conatcts and tasks do not synch, but everything else does. Was told by Dell help desk to uninstalled outlook 2002, Active synch, even Office 2000. Reinstalled office 2000 without Outlook 2000, then re-install Outlook 2002 and then Active Sync but to no avail. I disconnected the USB from the front "4 hub" and connected it to the back. It synched everyhting once and thought that was the problem, but low and behold, I cannot get it to synch the 2nd time. HELP!!!
Why am I just having trouble with just the CONTACTS. TASKS AND CALENDER, but nothig else?

HI,

Have you reviewed your setup in activesync? When it says they are "unresolved", click on the icon and then settings. A screen should open with check boxes for you to select which ones you want synchronized. I have Office XP and Outlook 2002 from my dell Cd and the installation went without a hitch.

This method might help your inbox subfolders, and tasks to sync properly.
